Cabin Remodel, Edmonds, WA

A return client asked Multi-M Contracting to remodel a 1920’s hunting cabin that had already been remodeled twice over its lifetime. The challenge was to expand the garage space and increase the view into Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands. The solution? Lift the house and create a full basement.

The interior was turned into a modern living space with full views from nearly any room on the main floor. The lower area was created into a spare bedroom/office with a private bath and a full living room with a full kitchen. The garage was expanded to be a full tandem with a third bay. The exterior features a modern feel with exposed joints and screening to achieve a “segmented” look giving it clean lines and the illusion of height.
