Spec home - quality on a budget

Built for a property owner on a very tight budget, this spec building project included two side-by-side houses with a similar design. The sloping site in Green Lake near Seattle, Washington called for excavation and a retaining wall in the back yards. The architectural drawings purchased online required several modifications and improvements including:

• Moving and eliminating upstairs walls to improve flow and create a more open space
• Changing the master bedroom and bathroom layout for improved space utilization
