The original concept was to remodel a 1960s house on Mercer Island near Seattle with a small addition and a detached garage. Part way through the demolition and preparation work, Multi-M Contracting realized that it would be cheaper to do a complete tear down and start from scratch. The result is an elegant, Northwest-themed house with panoramic views of Lake Washington and the Olympic Mountains. The house is 4,000 sq ft with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a great room.
